Of course you still have to deal with the issue of playing them when in normal mode, but you will get that figured out I am sure. I prefer to not use the net on the same PC I am downloading games on but that is me.worried about corrupt files and such you know. Or you can use another PC to look up information on the net while your gaming PC downloads games in safe mode with networking.just to speed things up if you want to.

I assume from here it is all on you, as you seem to know what you are doing and we cannot see what is going on with your processes of course. I'll just have to pinpoint and figure out why in normal mode RAM is getting eaten up. In your Steam library, hover over the game you want to play and right-click it. This is specific for each type of game and you will have to search for advanced launch fixes by the community. Most of the time, it utilizes less memory when done.
